Ultra Rare Vintage Vertical Epic 02.02.02. by Stone Brewery! This beer was created on 02.02.02 by Stone Brewery to be enjoyed in December 2012 as a part of their Vertical Epic Series. It was the first one created in this Epic Series and only 300 cases of it were produced making it a very rare vintage, especially since most beer drinkers are not able to resist drinking their beer for so long! This bottle has been tucked away, stored & sealed tight and in its original case for over fourteen years. Stone Brewery created this series "to provide the beer connoisseur with the flavor equivalent of a Mozart Symphany with multiple movements." Lee Chase, a master brewer at Stone, said that it is an Imperial (double) White Ale that was brewed without any candy sugar. Here is the original Stone description for Vertical Epic '02: A new Vertical Epic will be released every year, with the goal being to collect them all and have a Vertical Epic tasting once the final Epic is released on 12/12/12. Each new Stone Vertical Epic Ale will be release one YEAR, one MONTH and one DAY apart. Vertical Epic 02/02/02 was not brewed "to style". Instead, we tried to create something new. It's triple-ish in nature, with wit character, coriander and orange peel, and has way more hops than either a Belgian triple or a Wit would. Belgian yeast was used. I won this in 2000. After grand plans to open it to much fanfare, we tried some cheaper bottles of Sam Adams triple boch, and realized we hated it. It's been stored in my basement ever since, because I kept telling myself I would eventually want to use the beautiful wooden box. I haven't yet, so surely it should go to a collector. Cut & pasted from the listing that led me to believe it still has value: Extremely rare, unopened, bottle of Samuel Adams Millennium Ale MMM with custom drawstring bag and matching cherry wood case. Rather than spend the time trying to sell my cellar one bottle at a time, I've decided to put my entire cellar up for sale. The cellar contains 450 bottles collected by me between 2003 - 2014. As my wife has said "you don't have a problem drinking beer, you have a problem buying beer."

Highlights include early batches of Russian River beers (Salvation B001, Perdition B002, Sanctification B002, Toronado 20th Anniversay), Firestone Walker Parabola and 12th - 15th Anniversary, Fifty Fifty Eclipse Imperial Stouts (Elijah Craig, Four Roses, and Evan Williams), Bruery 2 Turtle Doves and 3 French Hens, Brooklyn Brewing Blacks Ops, Deschutes Black Butte XX and XXI, aged Alesmith Speedway Stout, and cases of aged Sierra Nevada Bigfoot. There are whales, whales that should be drank now, and some oxidized whales (like the Stone Vertical 03-03-03 and 04-04-04). Some of the bottles (not the contents of the bottles) are highly sought after like the Lagunitas Gonzo.

Most of the beers in the cellar are made for aging and have aged very well. Even the bottles that weren't necessarily made for aging have aged well. I've been cracking some older bottles recently that weren't meant to age and they've held up well but do have some oxidation. And some bottles have turned into crazy mutants (the 2003 Stone Double Bastard tastes like a barleywine). All of the bottles have been kept in a cool, dark garage on the foggy side of San Francisco since purchase. I have been cellaring beers for over 10 years, so purchase with confidence as these beers have been aged properly and are ready to be poured into your glass.

The cellar is located in San Francisco. The bottles are all boxed up (21 22oz shippers and 9 cases) and ready to go. Ideally, you will have a car/truck with a lot of space to pick up the bottles. I will ship via private shipper if you're willing to pay for the delivery.

I'm selling the cellar for $3500 (or $7.77 a beer - no, I will not sell a bottle for $7.77). This is considerably less than other similar cellars for sale on this website. And no, I don't want to trade the cellar for a sit-down Centipede game (although that would be kinda awesome). Payment will be by:

I am selling an unopened six pack of Three stooges Beer made by the Panther Brewing Company in Utica NY. These were made in 1998 and You don't find this beer sealed often or in this condition. I guess I can only do one photo on this site, so if you can contact me through email I will be happy to send you more photos. The six pack holders are mint and have never been displayed, You'll see when I send you more photos. On the bottles you may find one speck of a corner starting to lift off the bottle, and again the labels, bottles and caps are mint. If interested I also have the empty case, but it's in no way in the same shape and condition as the six packs and sustained a lot of abuse doing it's job. I'm open to offers on it.
